Additional Information:
Lead poisoning can have serious short term and long term effects. Dogs seem to
be more susceptible, especially puppies as they tend to explore there world by
mouthing things. Generally lead poisoning in dogs is the result of ingesting a
product that contains lead, such as chewing on baseboards or other scrap pieces
of wood that were previously painted with a lead based paint.
First Aid:
If ingested induce vomiting, seek veterinary attention.
